Creating Dylio: Part II

Welcome to the second part of the installment about the creation of the protagonist of our next video game Dylio's Adventures, below we show you how Zuci, our conceptual artist, proposed the design of Dylio's human form.
"Dylio is a 10-year-old boy who is adventurous yet a bit shy, and he possesses remarkable drawing skills for someone his age. His toys and art supplies serve as an escape from reality for him, and he consistently carries them in his spacious backpack, adorned with items inspired by his favorite animal, the armadillo."
Starting with the first concepts of the character, we can see traits that are shared between the Armadillo and Human forms:

Later we will advance in the story surrounding this mysterious and endearing character and the event that would change his life forever...
Once the boy's body was defined, Zuci carried out tests with base colours, at the same time as working with Dylio in his Armadillo form, so that there was coherence and cohesion between both identities:

Other tests of values ​​and tones of the chosen palette defined the final appearance of the character:

As a result of this creative process, we defined Dylio in his Human form.
